A Word from our General
Manager...
June/July 2007
Dear
Partners and Friends,
Thank
you for your faithfulness in standing with KSCE
financially and in prayer during these past months.
Your partnership has greatly strengthened and encouraged
us, and we are very grateful. Even through obstacles
and hindrances, there has been much activity and
progress in station affairs, and God’s wonderful
presence has sustained and guided us.
During
the year, we have often been amazed to realize how God
has gone before us, opened doors and provided needed
resources just at the exact time they were needed.
One of those special moments was in March when one of
our viewers offered to lend the station the balance of
money needed to purchase the 10 kW transmitter that
would significantly increase our signal strength! As
you know, this has been our need and prayer request for
many years – a stronger signal that could penetrate the
entire area and be visible to everyone who wants to
watch the station. Now, the transmitter has been
delivered and is already installed on the mountain.
Hallelujah! KSCE’s signal strength is now increased to
400,000 watts.
This
April, the station held an Art Auction that featured
various art pieces donated by local artists, with the
proceeds going to KSCE Christian Television. We were
overwhelmed by the kindness of artists, friends, The
El Paso Times, Art Masters, the Lancer’s Club and
the Adair Margo Art Gallery. All gave of their time and
treasure to support the Auction and express their
support for our Community and this ministry. Thank
you!
If you
were not able to attend, and are interested in viewing
the art that was not sold, we still have many excellent
paintings and art pieces available here at the station.
Your purchase will provide much needed funds for
KSCE. You can preview the art right here on our
website.
To
bring you up to date on current KSCE financial and
prayer needs, this is where we stand:
Financial needs: * Repay transmitter

* Continued monthly
operations support……. $20,000
* Funds for purchase of
equipment and other needed resources for
KSCE’s
new Spanish Christian Channel. Estimated total cost…
$200-300,000
Prayer
needs: * We plan to have a Spanish Christian
Channel on the air by December.
This is an ambitious
goal, but with God’s help, and your support,
it is possible. This
will be KSCE Digital Channel 39-2.
* That God will supply our
need for wisdom, good programs, staff –
Everything necessary to
serve God and Community for His glory!
In
these increasingly troubled times, we urge you, as God’s
Word says in Isaiah 55:6,7, “Seek the Lord while He may
be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the
wicked forsake his way…for our God will abundantly
pardon.” We thank God for you and your generous
sharing in this broadcast ministry. May God bless you
and your family in every way!
